Hikes

Bike Ride Around Lake Starnberg:
A 50km loop around the lake—flat, scenic, and well-marked. It takes about 3–4 hours with plenty of places to swim, stop for a drink, or just enjoy the views.

Three Great Hikes:

  • Hardcore
    Höllentalklamm to Zugspitze
A challenging 7-hour climb through gorge and glacier up to Germany’s highest peak. For experienced hikers with proper gear. Descent by cable car.

  • Medium
    Herzogstand–Heimgarten Loop
Take a cable car up to Herzogstand and hike along the ridge. Stunning views, not too strenuous.

  • For Families
    Oberammergau to Teufelstättkopf
Lift up to Kolbensattel, then a gentle hike to August-Schuster-Haus. Return via alpine roller coaster—great fun.
